My Story
Hi, I'm Nadine Saint-Remy.
Thanks for stopping by. I pray that my story will be a blessing and an encouragement to you.
It all started in 2018 when a defining moment occurred in my life. I rededicated my life to the Lord through baptism, and shortly afterward, I had a great desire to serve the Lord in ministry. However, I wasn’t quite sure how to begin.
At that time, I was working at my former church's private preschool center, so I knew it had to involve working with children. Now, just to give you a little background on my story, I've always wanted to be a teacher since I was seven years old.
As a little girl, I would often play school with my younger sister and with all of our stuffed animals and toys.
Growing up, I did babysitting jobs, helped with children's Sabbath school, children’s choir, and the children's story at my church. Any activity that involved children, I was there. I also served as the Adventurer Club director from 2014 to 2016 at my former church.
After my baptism, I was on a quest to discover what my gift was. I pleaded earnestly with God to reveal it to me so that I could use it to serve Him.
After spending some time in prayer and fasting, in 2020, the Lord answered my prayer through a conversation I had with one of my parents. I asked a simple question, and she gave a simple answer.
I asked, “How do you know what your gifts are?”
She answered, “Your gifts are what you enjoy doing.”
“I enjoy working with children.”
“That’s your gift.”
It was so simple and so clear that I couldn’t believe it took me that long to realize what my gift was. It also dawned on me that I had been using my gift pretty much my whole life, but again, I didn't realize it.
Remember after my baptism, I had a great desire to serve the Lord in ministry but wasn't quite sure how to begin? Although I wasn't pleading with the Lord to show me how to begin to serve Him in ministry as much as I was in wanting to know my gift, but He revealed to me how to begin.
Through Aunty Nadine Ministries, I desire to use the gift that God has given me to help children learn about Jesus and His amazing love.
I hope to inspire others through my story to discover their gifts and talents and use them to serve the Lord.
If you are where I was, searching for your hidden gift and talent, it's possible that you could be employing it without realizing it.
I want to encourage you to go to the Lord in prayer and simply ask Him, and He will simply tell you, "Your gift is what you enjoy doing."
Every gift and talent we have comes from Jesus and He wants us to use them to help others.
Have you discovered your gift and talent? How are you using it to help others?
